It takes a giant weirdo to invent a device that screws up people's pictures. It's imaginative, though.

Wouldn't work with most TTL flashes, though, unless he's got his thing firing at the second flash.

1973 (Dave Spoon Remix) and With Every Heartbeat (Dave Spoon Remix) are exactly the same speed. If you time it right you can get these two playing on beat together (beat matched).

You may have seen the "popping popcorn with cell phones" trick floating around. I was wondering how you'd pull it off.

I never thought the solution would be so stupidly unsafe.

I really hope people aren't doing this.

Passive-aggressive tip: mark all messages received from Microsoft as "junk" instead of just deleting them when looking at your Hotmail account.

'Big Science' is always suppressing The Truth with their blatant pro-evolution anti-wacko agenda: from the fact that UFOs built the pyramids to the reality of creationism and fact the universe is "Turtles All The Way Down".

Grower not a Shower. Sketch comedy. Dirty. Not exactly safe for work, though there's no nudity or anything.

People make images with censor bars by exposing themselves in different ways. Very amusing, and not safe for work.

In the US especially, you hear a ton of stories of photographers being harassed for taking pictures of buildings. Why? People think they're terrorists... Except Terrorists don't take pictures.

Some items were stolen from UBC in part by phoning security and telling them to ignore alarms.

Why didn't I think of that?

Thanks, Maddog!

Andy and I have been informally working on a line of cards inspired by his fiancée's work.

Home made card, two sides taped together off-kilter so the card rips a bit when you open it. The front reads, "You made a baby!". The inside reads "I guess you're better at making babies than I am at making cards." The nastier version reads "Let's hope you're better at making babies than I am at making cards.

Plain white card on the outside, text in black serif font reads, "Shake this card to learn a valuable life lesson." Inside is black and has a dazed baby cutout that is free to fall out of the card. Red, alarmed text reads, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

A card that clearly appears to be a child's 10 year birthday card has the "You're 10!" crossed out in big black marker, and "Congratulations on your new baby" written in underneath. The inside text is blacked out with marker, and in pen is written "I guess you're better at making babies than I am at buying cards."

All cards Copyright 2008.
